Dr. Clover McLennon is an innovative nurse leader, educator, and healthcare advocate who has devoted her life to serving underserved and marginalized communities. With more than a decade of experience in acute care, hospice, and medical-surgical nursing, she is known for her compassionate leadership and her unwavering commitment to equity, inclusion, and patient-centered care.

As Nurse Director at Saint Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York, Dr. McLennon leads multidisciplinary teams that drive clinical excellence, operational innovation, and staff empowerment. Her deep commitment to the profession also keeps her grounded at the bedside, where she continues to serve as a Patient Care Coordinator, ensuring that care remains personal, compassionate, and effective.

A passionate teacher and mentor, Dr. McLennon finds great purpose in inspiring the next generation of nurses to lead with empathy, courage, and integrity. Guided by her personal motto,

“If I can help someone as I pass along, then my living shall not be in vain,”

Dr. McLennon is also the founder of Clover Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping migrants and vulnerable populations navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. Through this initiative, she advances her lifelong mission to close health disparities, promote education, and create pathways to accessible, compassionate care.
